MUI NE kites and dunes Vietnam
April 19-23 , 2016
If the waves were suitable for surfing, David would be in the water with surfboard. And now- all three sitting on the shore and watching Mui Ne colorful kites and kitesurfers making all different stunts . Somehow we don’t want to try it. Maybe in Philippines 🙂
Windy. Perfect weather for kiting. We don’t even try to go into the water with Lani.
But it was like that only for couple days. Finally the wind calmed down and Lani was able to have fun in the water with tens of local children. A lot of joy to all!
Surprised that this town is perfectly adapted to the Russian tourism. The signs are only in Vietnamese and Russian. When asked in English, “how much?”, and we got response in Russian “dvacat” 🙂
We didn’t miss opportunity to try borsh soup at the local russian restaurant. The heart is recovering, especially for me, after a few days feeling not well (i’m lucky with getting sick) 😉
Most of the restaurants offer all fancy dishes, we didn’t try them . Crocodile meat, Cobra, crickets -thank you!
However,we had wonderful evening eating fresh seafood with one of the lithuanian family, who are here for the winter and teaches kitesurfing in this town.
Thanks, Vaida and Kriste for intruducing us ! 🙂
Neringa and Justai maybe we’ll see you someday in Lithuania, so Lani and Adas can play again . 😉
What still pulls people to Mui Ne?
It’s dunes -red and white. You can rent a plastic pallet -sleigh ,from the local children .
At the white dunes you can take a ride by quadracycles. Of course, for an additional fee.
On the way to the dunes we stopped at Mui Ne bay
